The AMU at UiT is a jointly constituted, decision-making, coordinating and advisory consultative body that shall work for a fully satisfactory work environment in the organisation. The duties of the AMU are stipulated in Section 7-2 of the Working Environment Act and Section 2 of Regulations on Organisation, Participation and Management.
