Course contents
The course demonstrates flora, vegetation and ecological conditions in an area outside the North Norwegian region. The study area is selected according to special knowledge by the responsible teacher or co-operative partners. The course focuses on phytogeography and ecological adaptations and can involve visits at other institutions. The course is reserved for master students at the study programs Botanical Biodiversity and Environmental Botany/Palaeoecology.

Language of instruction and examination
The language of instruction is English and all of the syllabus material is in English. Examination questions will be given in English, but may be answered either in English or a Scandinavian language.
