Molecular Biology of Plants
About the course
BIO-3131 will give an in depth discussion of molecular aspects of plant structure, function, development and evolution. Gene regulation during development and adaptation to biotic and abiotic factors will be emphasised. The use of transgenic plants to study plant functions, and safety concerns in the use of gene modified plants will be discussed.

Teaching methods
Language of instruction and examination
The language of instruction is English and all of the syllabus material is in English. Examination questions will be given in English, but may be answered either in English or a Scandinavian language.Recommended reading/syllabus
