Course contents
The course will provide a practical introduction to the preparation of biological material for electron microscopy by scanning and transmission. The students will also receive a theoretical introduction to electron optics, to the construction principles that apply to electron microscopes, and to scanning and transmission microscopy.
Objective of the course
The students should master the most common electron microscope techniques as well as independent use of microscopes.

Written exam (3 hours) contingent on approved lab records. Grade type: pass / fail
