Type of course
Master degree students who would like to participate have to sign up on the studentweb. Employees and Ph.D. students who would like to take BIO-3309 and get 5 credits for it, has to apply on-line for local admissions at the University of Tromsø (singular courses). In addition all employees, master degree students and Ph.D. students have to register on-line at the internet pages of PEK (Department of Personnel and Finance). It is important to register which selected parts you would like to take, your name and your e-mail address and mail address.

Course contents
The course will be held as an intensive course in the beginning of each semester. The course will consist of one module lasting 12 hrs and a minimum of 18 academic hours of subjects of the students' own choice. The entire course, or parts of it will also be compulsory for new staff and guest lecturers using the labs or doing field research.
