Course contents
The course will focus on the following topics: 1) Ion channels, pumps and exchange mechanisms that are relevant for the excitation and contraction connection with the heart muscle; 2) receptors and intracellular signalling; 3) regulation of coronary blood flow; 4) normal and ischemic metabolism in the heart muscle; 5) the mechanical activity of the left ventricle under normal and pathological conditions.
