Course contents
The point of departure for the course is RNA-based evolution and the relationship between RNA-structure and function. A central part of the course will be a description of cellular structures in which RNA has a pivotal functional role such as natural catalytic RNA, the spliceosome, proteosome and ribosome. Finally, new aspects of clinical use of RNA as a molecular tool will be discussed.
