BIO-2201 Bachelor's Thesis in Biology, BIO-2202 Ecology project (Ecology 2 b)
This is a seminar-based course in the theory of conservation biology, and its application in the sense of using ecological knowledge to analyse and address environmental issues associated with conserving biological diversity. The teaching is organised such that students participate actively in the presentation and discussion of selected articles, and prepare a required semester report.
The language of instruction is English and all of the syllabus material is in English. Examination questions will be given in English, but may be answered either in English or a Scandinavian language.
Seminar 20 h and individual supervision.
Semester report and seminar presentations.
Grading form: Passed/fail.
There will not be arranged a re-sit exam for this course. Postponed examination will be arranged early in the next semester.
