===================

URSI Women in Radio Science (WIRS) Norway Chapter was officially established on 2 September 2026.

WIRS is a women-led initiative dedicated to promoting the work and achievements of women in radio science, increasing opportunities for underrepresented groups, and contributing to closing the gender gap within our community.

Our mission is to foster an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes gender equality, diversity, professional development, and scientific and technical excellence in radio science.

How to join

===================

WIRS Norway welcomes you! While the initiative focuses on advancing gender equality, our community is also open to students and early-career researchers. We aim to create a space where members can exchange experiences, share ideas, raise concerns, seek support, and build meaningful professional connections.

We warmly invite colleagues across Norway who are interested in WIRS to join us, contribute their ideas, and help shape a more inclusive and supportive radio science community.
