Newsletter May/June
Dear students, supervisors and EPINOR friends. Here is the EPINOR newsletter for May and early June. We hope you will enjoy it! Please remember to send us useful tips if you have something to share with your fellow researches. Keep us up to date and send an email to epinor@uit.no!
EPINOR has reached half way and has therefore been evaluated by NRC. EPINOR is happy to announce that we have been approved for four more years! We will at the same time work hard to improve on the subjects that can be improved. Read the report here (EPINOR page 48). The Steerings Committee will meet in Bergen June 12 to discuss the report.
I was granted money from EPINOR to participate in the ENLP seminar 2017 a bit outside Luxemburg city. I can highly recommend this 8 days seminar, the teaching is of a very high level and the things you learn at this seminar you will be able to use afterwards both professionally and private.
In the beginning of March 2017, I attended the one-week course “Epidemiological methods, beyond the basics” at University of Oslo. The course is recommended by EPINOR. It was an informative and challenging experience with engaging and experienced lecturers within different topics.
The EPINOR Summer School 2017 in Oslo and Bergen are now over. Next up is NTNU June 19-20 and Tromsø August 24-25. See the summary from Oslo and also more information about the upcomming summer schools!
EPINOR Annual Meeting 2017 and NOFE Conference starts their registration June 1.
